About Talwar Jewellery House
The story of Talwar Jewellery House began in the mid-1940’s when a gifted bench jeweller named Dina Nath Talwar moved back to Punjab from Burma at the advent of the Second World War. Soon India gained independence and to compensate for the loss of Punjab’s capital city the formation of Chandigarh was announced. In 1954, to explore new avenues Mr Dina Nath Talwar along with his son Late Shri Kailash Chand Talwar and his two brothers moved to the newly found city, eventually forming the Chandigarh’s first jewellery business.
In 1993, Late Shri Kailash Chand Talwar along with his son Sandeep Talwar opened Talwar Jewellery House. Looking back on a long tradition of jewellery making in the family, Talwar Jewellery House today offers an international clientele a jewellery range designed and produced in the firm’s own workshops together with individual pieces made using very rare natural-coloured diamonds, unusual coloured gemstones or much-sought-after pearls.
